Product information "Sterling Silver Multi-Amber Artisan Brooch"
A striking, free-form artistic brooch, its sinuous silver branchwork curving and looping around three separate amber cabochons in a design that feels organic and hand-sculpted rather than symmetrical or formal. A slender silver stem sweeps up from the pin fitting, twisting through open loops and curling leaf-like forms before framing each stone in its own irregular setting.
The largest stone, an organically-shaped freeform cabochon, is a warm honey-gold amber rich with visible natural inclusions — fine plant matter, dark organic debris and swirling internal detail scattered throughout, giving real depth and character to the piece. Above it, a smaller round cabochon in a paler golden tone echoes the same richly included character on a more delicate scale. A third, tiny diamond-shaped accent in deep forest-green amber sits low on the silver stem, adding a subtle note of contrast colour to the design.
This layered, sculptural use of multiple ambers in varying shapes, sizes and tones is characteristic of contemporary artisan amber jewellery, where the silverwork is treated as its own expressive form rather than a simple frame. Baltic amber is one of the world's most prized organic gemstones, formed from ancient tree resin approximately 44 million years ago along the shores of the Baltic Sea, and this piece showcases its natural variety beautifully across three distinct stones in one design.
Finished with a secure pin fitting to the reverse, this brooch has real presence on a lapel, scarf, or collar, its flowing silverwork and rich, layered ambers making it a genuinely one-of-a-kind piece.
